Sen. Webber announces committee assignments

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Michael Webber, R-Rochester Hills, announced on Thursday that he has received his Senate committee assignments for the 102nd Legislature.

Webber will serve as minority vice chair of the Senate Committee on Health Policy and as a member of the Committee on Regulatory Affairs and the Committee on Economic and Community Development.

“I came to Lansing to work hard to lower the costs of living — including the cost of health care — and help create new economic opportunities for the people of my district and the state,” said Webber, R-Rochester Hills. “I look forward to working with my Senate colleagues on these important committees to find solutions for the tough issues that will help people build better futures.”
