LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Michael Webber, R-Rochester Hills, meets with Auditor General Doug Ringler and staff from the Office of the Auditor General, who conducted an independent audit last year into how the Office of Recipient Rights handles patient complaints at state-run psychiatric hospitals after a request from Webber.
Webber also addressed the entire OAG staff in the Capitol’s Heritage Hall during the office’s annual all-staff retreat about their critical role in oversight of state government.
Webber spoke about working with the OAG team on the audit process and the role the auditor general plays in assisting lawmakers in their oversight responsibilities.
